170426-N-QE668-096 KEY WEST, Florida (April 26, 2017) Trainers with the U.S. Navy Marine Mammal Program prepare the dolphin Constellation for a training event off the coast of the Florida Keys. The program is visiting Naval Air Station Key West's Truman Harbor to maintain the mobility of its expeditionary Marine Mammal System to detect and mark the location of mine-like objects on the ocean bottom. NAS Key West is a state-of-the-art facility for air-to-air combat fighter aircraft of all military services and provides world-class pierside support to U.S. and foreign naval vessels.
