Sailors conduct preparations for launching an F/A-18F Super Hornet belonging to the Black Knights of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 154 from a steam-powered catapult on board the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Steam-powered catapults are capable of launching aircraft off the flight deck in under two seconds.
