Drill instructors with Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, recite the drill instructor creed during pick up at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, April 21. Upon completing the creed, the drill instructors begin their mission of transforming their recruits into Marines. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Hotel Company is scheduled to graduate July 14.
