170424-N-PF593-104 YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 24, 2017) Sailors assigned to the Navy's only forward deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), pose for a photo with Japanese Sailors assigned to JS Izumo (DDH 183) on Izumo's flight deck. Twenty Sailors from Ronald Reagan toured Izumo as part of a partnership event. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
