PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea (April 18, 2017) U.S. Sailors with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group prepare to retire the colors aboard USS Comstock (LSD 45) during the concluding barbecue of a military tactics exchange conducted between U.S. Marine and Sailors with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Papua New Guinea Defense Force (PNGDF) service members as part of a theater security cooperation (TSC) engagement, April 18. In its conclusion, the TSC allowed the U.S. Marine Corps to work with a partner nation’s military, building relationships and mutual military capacity that supports security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
