PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea (April 18, 2017) Catherine Ebert-Gray, U.S. ambassador to Papua New Guinea, and U.S. Navy Commander Bradley Coletti, commanding officer, USS Comstock (LSD 45), cut the cake during a reception aboard Comstock to conclude a military tactics exchange conducted between U.S. Marine and Sailors with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and Papua New Guinea Defense Force (PNGDF) service members as part of a theater security cooperation engagement, April 18. Comstock, with the embarked 11th MEU, is in Papua New Guinea to conduct activities and training that will enhance military-to-military relations as the two nations work together for a stable and prosperous Asia-Pacific region.
