PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea (April 18, 2017) Catherine Ebert-Gray, U.S. ambassador to Papua New Guinea, gives final remarks during a reception aboard USS Comstock (LSD 45) to conclude a military tactics exchange conducted between U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and Papua New Guinea Defense Force (PNGDF) service members as part of a theater security cooperation engagement, April 18. During her speech, Ebert-Gray commented on the training that occurred between the 11th MEU and PNGDF, stating the exchange has strengthened U.S.-Papua New Guinea relations as the two nations work together to build a strengthened partnership.
