PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea (April 18, 2017) U.S. Marine Capt. Jeremy Oberdove, a company commander with Battalion Landing Team 1st. Bn, 4th Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, converses with Lt. Col. Boniface Aruma, a company commander with Royal Pacific Island Regiments, Papua New Guinea Defense Force (PNGDF), during a reception aboard USS Comstock (LSD 45) to conclude a military tactics exchange as part of a theater security cooperation engagement, April 18. Apart from day-to-day bilateral training conducted at Taurama Barracks and the National Convention Center, an informational exchange ship tour held aboard USS Comstock (LSD 45), along with a WWII memorial tour, also occurred during the TSC.
