SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii- Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic, Spc. Wes Boulden (left), 58th Military Police Company, 728th MP Battalion, 8th MP Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, along with Oshkosh Defense Instructor, Shawn Bartz (right), test the peddle acceleration position during a two-week certification course, March 29- April 7, here. The course, which included nearly a dozen wheeled vehicle mechanics from throughout the 8th MP Bde., is designed to provide the mechanics with a practical understanding of the maintenance requirements of the Long Term Armored Strategy (LTAS) and Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT), two systems built by Oshkosh Defense.
