Sgt. Maj. Michael Walton, sergeant major of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., welcomes a Marine to work at the East Gate on MCAS Miramar, April 21. Walton, along with Maj. Gen. Mark Wise, commanding general of 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Col. Jason Woodworth, commanding officer of MCAS Miramar and Sgt. Maj. James Porterfield, sergeant major of 3rd MAW, welcomed service members and civilian employees traveling through the gate to raise awareness of Sexual Assault and Prevention month. “It is the responsibility of every member of the command to prevent and report incidents of sexual assault,” said Woodworth. “Treat each other as you want to be treated and remember to do the right thing the first time, every time.” (Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
