GREAT LAKES, Ill. (April 14, 2017) Adm. Harry B. Harris, commander of U. S. Pacific Command, congratulates recruits after a capping ceremony next to the Navy’s largest training simulator, USS Trayer (BST 21), at Recruit Training Command. A capping ceremony is when recruits officially become Sailors by donning their Navy ball caps after successfully completing Battle Stations aboard Trayer.
