GREAT LAKES, Ill. (April 14, 2017) Capt. Michael S. Garrick, commanding officer at Recruit Training Command, conducts a tour of the master control room of the U. S. Navy’s largest simulator, USS Trayer (BST 21), to Adm. Harry B. Harris, commander, U. S. Pacific Command, center. Trayer is a 210-foot-long Arleigh Burke-class destroyer simulator for recruits to train on Battle Stations, a 12-hour culmination of basic training and the last evolution recruits complete before they graduate. Harris also was the reviewing officer at the weekly pass-in-review recruit graduation. (U.S. Navy photo by Scott A. Thornbloom/Released)
