USS SOMERSET, At sea (April 13, 2017) U.S. Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, watch a boxing match between fellow Marines during a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) training session aboard USS Somerset (LPD 25), April 13. In addition to the physical aspect of MCMAP, Marines also discuss a tie-in topic such as: leadership, combat operations, or warrior ethos, which aids in maintaining mental discipline and character development.
