PACIFIC OCEAN (April 13, 2017) Electrician's Mate Fireman Puridet Chailiab, from Fresno, Calif., troubleshoots a grounded circuit aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100) while underway conducting a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment. COMPTUEX tests the mission readiness of the strike group's assets through simulated real-world scenarios and their ability to perform as an integrated unit.
