Army Maj. Frederick Moss, provost marshal, 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), demonstrates what a comfortable yet effective kneeling position should resemble when firing a rifle or carbine during a weapons qualification class conducted April 8, 2017, at the Combat Arms Training Facility in Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. Moss led several classes on the fundamentals of marksmanship to help Soldiers gain the knowledge and confidence necessary to succeed on the range. The 143d ESC coordinated with the U.S. Air Force to use this $8.5 million facility to train and qualify approximately 300 Soldiers as they continue to fulfill the Army Reserve's ongoing mission to provide most capable, combat-ready and lethal federal Reserve in U.S. history.
