Ādaži, Latvia - Soldiers from Company A, 1st Battalion, 68th Armored Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, out of Fort Carson, Colo., conduct a tank live-fire and react-to-fire exercise on Ādaži military base as a part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, April 9. This live fire was part of a platoon-level training exercise to familiarize Soldiers with local terrain as well as how to react under pressure to situations such as loss of communication with higher headquarters, loss of global positioning system and chemical attack. The 3rd ABCT is trained to operate in any environment and the unique opportunities offered through Operation Atlantic Resolve allow U.S. Soldiers to hone their skills operating as a combined arms team with their Allies and partners.
