An M109A6 Paladin Self Propelled Howitzer, part of the artillery from Alpha Battery, 3rd Battalion, 29th Field Artillery Regiment makes its long-awaited arrival to Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base on April 7, 2017. The Paladin was carried by train through many European countries on its way to Romania. It will support U.S. and Romanian forces in the field during Operation Atlantic Resolve, a NATO mission involving the U.S. and European Allies and partners that promotes peace and deters aggression.
