Texas Military Forces Museum Director and World War I re-enactor, Jeff Hunt, speaks to gathering crowds about World War I era weapons as the Texas Historical Commission, Texas Military Forces Museum, the 36th Infantry Division and Texas State Legislators took part in a World War 1 Centennial Ceremony on the steps of the Texas Capitol on April 6, in Austin, Texas. The ceremony commemorated the 100-year anniversary of U.S. participation in "The Great War." The 36th Inf. Div. participated in the largest offensive operation in U.S. military history at Meuse-Argonne, which, in victory, brought an end to the war.
