British service member Royal Marine Joe D. Townsend swims the backstroke during the United States Olympic Committee Paralympic Military Sports camp, hosted by Naval Medical Center San Diego Oct. 5-7. The camp is designed to introduce paralympic sports to service members and veterans with physical injuries. Sports included archery, swimming, strength and conditioning, volleyball and a biathlon, among others.
