April 1, 2017. During a confined space rescue exercise, first-responders with the 146th Airlift Wing’s Aircraft Fuel Systems Maintenance Squadron and Federal Fire Ventura County firefighters run through the critical emergency operations that would take place if a fuel-cell maintenance worker were to become incapacitated while working inside the very small fuel tanks inside the aircraft’s wings.
