Sgt. Christine C. Kurkerewicz re-enlists to serve four more years in the Army, during a ceremony on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Kurkerewicz is a native of Eagle River, Wisc., and now serves as a personnel administration noncommissioned officer in Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 43rd Sustainment Brigade, based in Fort Carson, Colo., currently deployed in Afghanistan. Kurkerewicz received her choice duty station of Fort Bragg, N.C., as a portion of her re-enlistment incentive Oct. 1.
