U.S. Air Force Maj. Christopher J. Mortenson, an advisory with Iraq Training and Advisory Mission-Ministry of Defense, and U.S. Army Lt. Col. Ross D. Shales, a deputy division chief with ITAM-Army, have a good lead during the Forward Operating Base Union III five-mile "Army 10 Miler Shadow Run" Oct. 8. Mortenson and Shales placed first and second respectively among the male runners.
