Destroyed cars and debris cover a simulated city at Guardian Centers in Perry, Georgia, March 24, 2017, during Exercise Scarlet Response 2017. The city is the setting of a scenario in which an earthquake has destroyed most of the structures within, causing many people to become victims of the disaster. The Marines with Chemical Biological Incident Response Force responded to the disaster as part of their 36-hour final assessment for Scarlet Response.
