A member of the Afghanistan National Border Police assigned to the Mazar-e Sharif International Airport in Northern Afghanistan puts a defensive hold on one of his International Security Assistance Force instructors during demonstration of the proper ways to use the baton. The ISAF instructors are soldiers assigned to Red Platoon of Headquarters Company, 1st Brigade Special Troops Battalion from the 10th Mountain Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team located at Camp Mike Spann. Their mission is to partner with, and train members of the ANBP as well as the Afghan National Police.
