U.S. Soldiers assigned to 24th Military Intelligence Battalion, 66th Military Intelligence Brigade, conduct a Land Navigation Course during the Best Warrior Competition in the Sand Dunes Training Area located in Mainz, Germany, 28 March, 2017. The competition put its candidates through a series of physical and mental challenges including marksmanship; physical fitness; day and night land navigation; tactical communications; medical aid; board appearances and written exams; weapons skills; obstacle course negotiation; a 12-mile foot march; and a battery of other Soldier tasks and drills.
