U.S. 7TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (March 27, 2017) Sailors stand ready as an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4, brings cargo from Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE 10) during a vertical replenishment-at-sea aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108). Wayne E. Meyer is on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment with the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group as part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend U.S. 3rd Fleet command and control functions into the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
