Meyer (DDG 108)watch a powerpoint presentation about the history of females in the military during a dinner celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first woman to enlist in the military. Wayne E. Meyer is on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment with the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group as part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend U.S. 3rd Fleet command and control functions into the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
