170325-N-YL073-074 MAYAPO, Colombia (March 25, 2017) - A Colombian sailor, Engineering Aide 2nd Class Gabriel Jimenez (left), a native of Miami assigned to Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit (CBMU) 202, and Utilitiesman 2nd Class Elliott Shultz, a native of Indianapolis also with CBMU-202, move supplies onto a truck at the Continuing Promise 2017 (CP-17) medical site in Mayapo, Colombia. CP-17 is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored and U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet-conducted deployment to conduct civil-military operations including humanitarian assistance, training engagements, and medical, dental, and veterinary support in an effort to show U.S. support and commitment to Central and South America.
