Omar Sanchez, a medical planner with the 21st Medical Support Squadron out of Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., directs patients to their specific medical processing points in Azua, Dominican Republic, March 5, 2017, during NEW HORIZONS 2017 medical and dental training exercises. Sanchez is fluent in Spanish, which is an asset to working with local Dominicans during this annual exercise that began in the mid-1980s, and trains military civil engineers and medical professionals to deploy and conduct joint operations.
