A Marine maneuvers through an obstacle on the confidence course during event four of the Weapon and Field Training Battalion Gauntlet competition March 24, 2017, on Parris Island, S.C. Event four requires each team to complete the confidence course for time. Teams of five competed in a nine-mile course consisting of nine events varying in military skill and physical difficulty. The day long competition provided an opportunity to build comradeship throughout the Tri-Command through physically demanding events that emphasize sportsmanship and teamwork. (Sgt.
