Lance Cpl. Kevin Ivie, 24, from Paris, Ky., and Lance Cpl. William Branch, 21, from Miami, Fla., were both promoted to the rank of corporal aboard Forward Operating Base Zeebrugge, Oct. 1. Both Marines are field artillery cannoneer crewmen with India Battery, 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 2. The battalion has been deployed to Kajaki for several months and will soon be packing for their return to Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center 29 Palms, Calif.
