U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Elliseo Trujillo, a bioenvironmental journeyman with the 379th Expeditionary Medical Operations Squadron, sits still as moulage is applied to his face before a Lifeflight medical trauma exercise at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, March 21, 2017. Injury specific moulage can be applied to simulate wounds, for example applying dark coloring around the eyes to signify the possibility of head trauma. This training endeavor was organized in the hopes of bringing synergy in capabilities between medical responders at Al Udeid AB, running through every echelon of care a live patient would encounter.
