Ann Case, explains the unique contribution certified nurse’s provide in celebration of Certified Nurse’s Day on Mar. 21 by honoring its board certified nurses. Certified Nurses Day honors nurses worldwide who contribute to better patient outcomes through national board certification in their specialty. A registered nurse (RN) license allows nurses to practice. Certification affirms advanced knowledge, skill, and practice to meet the challenges of modern nursing. USNH Yokosuka is the largest U.S. military treatment facility on mainland Japan caring for approximately 43,000 eligible beneficiaries.
