Coast Guard Cmdr. Jon Baker, Lt. Cmdr. Brook Sherman, and Lt. Raymond Pamatian, of the Naval Engineering Department Boston, accept the 2016 Lucas Plaque – Ashore award for the engineering department of Coast Guard Base Boston during a ceremony at the Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore, Md., March 21, 2017. The award states, in part, that the team of 180 Naval Engineers stationed throughout the First Coast Guard District executed 150,000 hours of industrial production worth $6.7 million on cutters, boats, aids to navigation and shore facilities, including 27 dry-dock and dock-side maintenance availabilities, consistently earning top honors for quality, timeliness of service and customer satisfaction.
