Dave Roever speaks to RIVRON Team One, a Navy river patrol unit, at the Basra Chapel, Sept. 30. Roever, whose body was burned when a white phosphorus grenade went off in his hand, was part of the “Brown Water Black Berets,” a Navy river patrol unit during Vietnam and the predecessor to the RIVRON teams.
