Spc. William Berdan, a cannon crew member with Alpha Battery, 1st Battalion, 6th Field Artillery Regiment of the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, plots land navigation coordinates on a map, Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Fort Knox, Ky. Berdan is a student in the Warrior Leader Course, which provides classroom and laboratory instruction on becoming a non-commissioned officer. Fort Knox will no longer have a WLC Academy due to Army-wide changes that have reallocated those teaching resources elsewhere.
