Airman 1st Class Vincent Leal, 436th Security Forces Squadron response force member, uses a hand-held Defense Biometrics Identification System scanner to validate Common Access Card information of an individual entering the main gate March 17, 2017, on Dover Air Force Base, Del. A monthly average of more than 270,000 scans are conducted by 436th SFS personnel at the base’s three gates.
