John Klein, 60 Air Mobility Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt Steven Nichols , 60 AMW command chief, Senior Airman Allen Gutierrez, Airman 1st Class Mark Burdick and A1C Caroline Wright teamed up to conduct ramp operations service at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., Mar. 17, 2017 as part of the Works with Airmen Program. Burdick walked Klein through the process of transferring palletized cargo from a 60k Tunner loader onto a KC-10 Extender Aircraft . The Works with Airmen program is designed to allow wing leadership the opportunity to shadow junior enlisted Airmen and receive firsthand experience on how the Airman’s duties and responsibilities contribute to the wing’s overall mission.
