Caleb English, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with the 633rd Medical Group out of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., performs oral surgery with the assistance of Senior Airman Caitlin Moore, a dental assistant with the 81st Dental Squadron out of Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., March 14, 2017, during a dental readiness training exercise in Azua, Dominican Republic, as part of NEW HORIZONS 2017. The training provided by NEW HORIZONS missions promotes bilateral cooperation between U.S. and partner nation military engineers, medical personnel and support staff, and ensures U.S. forces remain prepared for real-world deployments in support of contingency, humanitarian assistance, and disaster relief operations.
