Capt. Kyle Smith, the optomentrist for the 167th Medical Detachment, holds up a III Corps “Historical Half,” medal Smith, from Clearlake, Iowa earned the medal and a t-shirt as one of the first 300 finishers of the a half marathon that took runners through Camps Victory and Liberty Sept. 26. The run commemorated the 92nd anniversary of the beginning of the Meuse-Argonne Campaign in 1918, which was the first combat action the Corps was involved in.
