An inmate’s laundry hangs outside and living areas at Khark prison near Baghdad during a search of the compound during "Operation Clean Sweep,” Sept.23, 2010. The search was an opportunity for members of the 105th Military Police Battalion and the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance to advise the Iraqis on their search techniques and procedures. The Iraqi Ministry of Justice took over operation of the prison from the U.S. military in August.
