III Marine Expeditionary Force and Marine Corps Installations Pacific have issued III MEF/MCIPAC-MCBBO 5230.1. PPEDs include but are not limited to smart phones, tablets, e-reader, mp3 players, smart watches and cameras. The Bluetooth capabilities in these devices make them a hazard to operational security.
