NHRC scientists discuss efforts to improve how sleep research is conducted, including studies to test commercially available devices and determine if any “off the shelf” solutions have potential for collecting data in operational environments. NHRC’s mission is to improve warfighter health and readiness through research and several studies at NHRC support 21st Century Sailor initiatives, particularly readiness, resilience, and physical fitness.
