Gunners with D Company, 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team take turns firing a .50 caliber machine gun from the turret of a multi-purpose all terrain vehicle during a machine gun leaders course on Sept. 21. This was the first time D Company troopers have used MATVs. It is important that they train with these vehicles instead of Humvees because they will use MATVs on deployment.
