McCormick, a veterinarian from Sacramento, Calif., embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima, administers a deworming vaccination to a Nicaraguan women's pig at a veterinary site in Bluefields, Nicaragua, Sept. 21. Service members and civilians are deployed in support of Operation Continuing Promise 2010 providing medical, dental, veterinary, engineering assistance and subject-matter exchanges to the Caribbean, Central and South America.
