These images were shot from a Task Force Destiny UH-60 Black Hawk at Forward Arming and Refueling Points throughout and over southern Afghanistan Sept. 19. The UH-60 Black Hawk utility helicopter executes air assault, general support, medical evacuation and a variety of additional mission roles in support of the U.S. Army and coalition forces. The UH-60 helicopter enables the rapid deployment of infantry troops across the battlefield. The aircraft can accommodate various mission load-outs, including external fuel tanks for extended range and a variety of weaponry to aid in self-defense. The UH-60 Black Hawk, able to deliver combat power quickly and safely anywhere on the battlefield.
