Kurdish women and children stand inside their 'home' Saturday Oct. 14 at a factory for Internally Displaced Personnel in the village of Bagirat, Dahuk. They were victims of Saddam Hussein's 'Anfal,' a massive militarycampaign which included destruction of Kurd villages, mass relocations, and chemical attacks. Estimates on Kurds killed range from 50,000 to 182,000.
