Coach Dave White of Edison High School receives the Semper Fi Coach Award during the 2017 Los Angeles Glazier Football Clinic at the Hilton Orange County, Feb. 25, 2017. White has coached football for over 30 years, received 14 Sunset League Titles, 2 California Interscholastic Federation championship titles and was the 2000-2010 County Register coach of the decade. Among many other coaching accomplishments, White exemplifies the Marine Corps leadership values of Honor, Courage and Commitment. The Semper Fi Coach Award is currently in its sixth year. It is given by the U.S. Marine Corps and Glazier Football Clinics to honor high school football coaches who display faithfulness to the mission of their team and exhibit the Marine standard of excellence in developing leaders.
