Footsteps of a soldier are the only visuals of civilization visible out in some of the most baren regions of the Mojave Desert here at the National Training Center located here. Soldiers of the 2-34th Brigade Combat Team will soon be moving out into regions such as these to complete thier final training validation before deploying to Afghanistan later this year. The 2-34th BCT primarily consists of soldiers of the Iowa and Nebraska National Guard.
