    31st Marine Expeditionary Unit       

    Marines with Fox Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines climb the stairs of the rappel tower during fast rope training at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 23, 2017. Each Marine descends multiple times, each time adding more gear increasing the technical and tactical challenge of the training. BLT 2/5, from Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, is the Ground Combat Element for the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
